Common materials for sheet metal processing
1. galvanized steel plate SECC
The base material of SECC is a cold rolled steel coil. After continuous degreasing, pickling, electroplating and various post treatment processes, it is an electric galvanized product. SECC not only has the mechanical properties and approximate machinability of the common cold rolled steel sheet, but also has superior corrosion resistance and decorative appearance. It has great competitiveness and substitution in the market of electronic products, household appliances and furniture. For example, the common use of computer boxes is SECC.
2. common cold rolled plate SPCC
SPCC is a steel ingot rolled through a cold rolling mill and rolled into a steel sheet or sheet with a required thickness. SPCC has no protection on the surface. It is easy to oxidize in the air, especially in wet environment. The oxidation speed is accelerated, and the dark red rust appears. When it is used, it needs painting, plating or other protection.
SGCC, hot dip galvanized steel sheet
Hot dip galvanized steel coil refers to the hot rolled and pickled or semi-finished products after cold rolling, after cleaning and annealing, immersing in the molten zinc bath with a temperature of about 460 degrees C, so that the steel plate is plated with zinc layer, then quenched, leveled and chemically treated. The SGCC material is less hard and ductile than SECC (avoid deep drawing design), the zinc layer is thicker, and the welding property is poor.
4. stainless steel SUS304
One of the most widely used stainless steels, because of Ni (nickel), is more corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant than steel containing Cr (chromium). It has excellent mechanical properties, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon, and no elasticity.
5. stainless steel SUS301
The content of Cr (chromium) is lower than that of SUS304, and its corrosion resistance is poor. But cold processing can achieve good tensile strength and hardness in stamping process, and its elasticity is better. It is mostly used for spring springs and EMI protection.
